Arriva set to boost its bus network in and around High Wycombe following passenger feedback

| December 6, 2023

Arriva is making some changes to its bus network in and around High Wycombe.

Following a significant upgrade of the network in September 2023, the bus operator has committed to implementing customer feedback and is refining its services from Sunday 7th January 2024.

The main aims are:

  • Building on the strides Arriva has already made in improving punctuality.
  • Bringing in later evening and Sunday services.
  • Improving connectivity for schools.

Customers will continue to benefit from better connections around the town, which will enable people to change at the bus station to more frequent buses, which will run at times that are easier to remember.

Arriva continues to offer co-ordinated departure times to High Wycombe so that customers onward journeys are simple, straightforward and with shorter waiting times.

The changes are listed on the Arriva website at the following link : Changes to your bus services in High Wycombe Jan 24.

Matt King, network manager for Arriva, said: ‘We’ve already introduced a substantially improved bus network for High Wycombe and it’s great to have been able to listen to continue to refine timetables based on what our customers tell us.

Customers told us that they need earlier connections from Totteridge and to Booker, so we’re pleased to bring in these service improvements.

We’ll also be bringing later evening and more Sunday journeys on some routes in response to our growing customer demand.

We always appreciate the feedback we get from the people who use our buses, day in day out and we’re proud to say that we will deliver exactly what they want.

Our customers re at the heart of everything we do, and we’re as committed as ever to being the most environmentally sustainable transport option of choice for everyone in High Wycombe and beyond.

The Arriva website has been updated to reflect the changes.
