Roadworks in Buckinghamshire for the week ahead – Monday 19th February 2024
Week commencing Monday 19th February 2024 roadworks are scheduled to take place at the following locations in Buckinghamshire.
The works are part of a rolling programme. As some activities are weather dependent the dates may change at short notice.
Conventional Surfacing Works
Bishopstone, Bishopstone : Tuesday 13th February 2024 to Friday 23rd February 2024 – Conventional surfacing works using a road closure. In operation between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Treadaway Hill, Flackwell Heath : Monday 19th February 2024 to Thursday 29th February 2024 – Conventional surfacing works using a road closure. In operation between 8.00pm and 6.00am.
Osier Way / Top Angel, Buckingham : Monday 12th February 2024 to Sunday 10th March 2024 – Conventional surfacing works using a combination of two-way temporary traffic lights and a road closure. The two-way lights will be in place 24 / 7 from Monday 12th February 2024 to Monday 26th February 2024. A 24 / 7 road closure will be in place from Monday 26th February 2024 to Sunday 10th March 2024.
Westcott Road, Ashendon : Thursday 15th February 2024 to Friday 1st March 2024 – Conventional surfacing works using a 24 / 7 road closure.
Neptune Road, Swanbourne : Friday 23rd February 2024 to Wednesday 13th March 2024 – Conventional surfacing works using a 24 / 7 road closure.
Footways Resurfacing Works
Market Hill, Buckingham : Monday 22nd January to Friday 23rd February 2024 – Footway resurfacing works using multi-way traffic signals. In operation between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Gold Hill West, Chalfont St Peter : Monday 12th February 2024 to Saturday 16th March 2024 – Footway resurfacing works using a footway closure. In operation between 9.30am and 3.00pm.
Three Households, Chalfont St. Giles : Monday 19th February 2024 to Tuesday 16th April 2024 – Footway resurfacing works using a footway closure. In operation between 8.00am and 5.00pm.
Street Lighting Works
Aylesbury – Various Locations : Upgrade of LED lanterns (80% complete).
Beaconsfield – Various Locations : Upgrade of LED lanterns (86% complete).
Buckinghamshire – Various Locations : Upgrade of illuminated signs and bollards (Located on central traffic islands and roundabouts).
Buckinghamshire – Various Locations : Upgrade of damaged street lighting columns and removal or damaged stumps.
Buckinghamshire – Various locations : Belisha Beacons – Upgrade, improvement and re-instatement of beacons, lanterns and posts.
Buckinghamshire – Various locations : School Wig Wag Units – Upgrade of existing flashing units to Bluetooth technology enabled and corrections / reinstatements to advanced warning signs.
High Wycombe : Inspection and upgrade to 7 x ‘High Mast’ LED columns and lanterns on Abbey Way in High Wycombe to achieve over 75% energy saving, whilst enhancing existing light levels and reducing the need for future maintenance.
Network Safety Improvement Works
A4146 Stoke Hammond Bypass : Monday 19th February 2024 to Tuesday 27th February 2024 – Safety barrier repairs, road lining refreshments and sign installations using a road closure. In operation between 8.00pm and 6.00am.
B4033 Great Horwood Road, Winslow : Friday 23rd February 2024 to Tuesday 5th March 2024 – Road safety improvement works including signing and lining works using a road closure. In operation between 8.00pm and 6.00am.
A421 Tingewick Bypass : Monday 19th February 2024 – Safety barrier repairs using a lane closure. In operation between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Drainage Works
Thorney Lane South, Iver : Monday 19th January to Friday 23rd February 2024 – Drainage works using a footpath closure and multi-way traffic signals. In operation between 7.00am and 7.00pm.
Structures Works
Marlow Bridge, Marlow : Monday 19th February 2024 to Friday 23rd February 2024 – Width restriction bollards reinstatement. Traffic signals in operation between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
