Firefighters called to a kitchen fire in High Wycombe

At 10.50am on Wednesday 18th February 2026 firefighters were called to a kitchen fire in Queen Victoria Road, High Wycombe.

One crew from Henley on Thames fire station and one crew from Aylesbury fire station (on standby at High Wycombe) attended the incident along with an officer.

There was a smell of burning coming from the kitchen on the third floor of the premises.

During the operation to extinguish the fire the firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a CO2 extinguisher. A woman was passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
