Roadworks in Buckinghamshire for the week ahead – Monday 25th July 2022

Week commencing Monday 25th July 2022 Transport for Buckinghamshire will be carrying out work at the following locations.

The works are part of a rolling programme. As some activities are weather dependent the dates may change at short notice.

Surface Dressing Programme

Balham Lane, Turville Heath – From County Boundary to Turville Heath : Sunday 24th July 2022 to 25th July 2022 – Surface treatment patching works using a road closure in operation Monday to Sunday 8.00am to 5.00pm.

Penfold Lane, Little Missenden – From Beamond End Lane to Beech Tree Road : Tuesday 26th July 2022 to Wednesday 27th July 2022 – Surface treatment patching works using a road closure in operation Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm.

Conventional Resurfacing Improvement Schemes

Fairway Princes Risborough – From Station Road to Manor Park Avenue : Monday 25th July 2022 to Friday 29th July 2022 – Conventional resurfacing works using a road closure in operation Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm.

Bletchley Road, Newton Longville – Newton Longville Crossroads : Monday 25th July 2022 to Thursday 4th August 2022 – Conventional resurfacing works using a road closure in operation Monday 25 July 2022 to Friday 29 July 2022 between 9.00am and 5.00pm and a further road closure Monday 1 August 2022 to Friday 4 August 2022 between 8.00pm and 6.00am.

Pond Park Road, Chesham – From Addison Road to Bellingdon Road : Monday 25th July 2022 to Wednesday 27th July 2022 – Conventional resurfacing works using a road closure in operation Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm.

Highfield Road, Chesham – From Pond Park Road to the end of Highfield Road : Monday 25th July 2022 to Wednesday 27th July 2022 – Conventional resurfacing works using a road closure in operation Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm.

Wellesley Avenue, Iver – From Bathurst Walk to Richings Way : Tuesday 26th July 2022 to Saturday 30th July 2022 – Conventional resurfacing works using a road closure in operation Monday to Saturday 8.00am to 5.00pm.

Main Street, Charndon – From Castle Street to Lilac Cottage : Thursday 21st July 2022 to Tuesday 26th July 2022 – Conventional resurfacing works using a road closure in operation 24 hours Monday to Sunday. Typical working hours will be 7.00am to 7.00pm with the closure remaining in place overnight to prevent through traffic damaging the unfinished surface.

Heet Road, Marsh Gibbon – From A41 to Clements Lane : Monday 25th July 2022 to Monday 1st August 2022 – Conventional resurfacing works using a road closure in operation 24 hours Monday to Sunday. Typical working hours will be 7.00am to 7.00pm with the closure remaining in place overnight to prevent through traffic damaging the unfinished surface.

Whaddon Road, Newton Longville – Outside St. Faiths Church : Monday 25th July 2022 – Surface patching works using a road closure in operation Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm.

Street Lighting Schemes

New Road, High Wycombe – Oppostie No. 122 and No.158 : Wednesday 27th July 2022 to Thursday 28th July 2022 – Lamp column replacement works using both two-way and three-way temporary traffic lights in operation Monday to Friday 8.00pm to 6.00am.

Lining Works

A412 Uxbridge Road, Wexham / Iver – From Five Points Roundabout to County Boundary : Monday 25th July 2022 to Friday 29th July 2022 – Installation of road markings and road stud works using a road closure in operation Monday to Friday 9.00pm to 6.00am.

Drainage Improvement Schemes

Hivings Hill, Chesham : Monday 4th July 2022 to Friday 12th August 2022 – Drainage improvement works using a combination of give and take traffic management and multi-way lights at the junctions which will be in operation Monday to Friday between 7.00am until 5.00pm. There will also be a 24-hour road closure at the junction of Belmont Road with Ridgeway Road from Monday 4 July 2022 until Friday 22 July 2022.

Road Safety Fund Schemes

Bradenham Railway Bridge – From Speed Limit Signage South of the Railway Bridge to Speed Limit Signage North of the Railway Bridge : Monday 25th July 2022 to Friday 29th July 2022 – Road safety improvement preparation works using two-way temporary traffic lights in operation Monday to Friday 9.30am to 3.30pm.

Bridge Schemes

High Street, Marlow – Marlow Bridge : Tuesday 5th October 2021 to Tuesday 25th October 2022 – Major bridge refurbishment using a footway closure when appropriate in operation Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 5.00pm.

Highway Infrastructure Projects (HIPs)

A41 Bicester Road – Rabans Lane to Paradise Orchard including Jackson Road and Dickens Way, Aylesbury : Please be advised that as of the 15 July 2022, overnight road closures of the A41 will commence Monday to Friday from 8.00pm to 06.00am for approximately 2 weeks, whilst construction works and carriageway resurfacing of the A41 is undertaken. The A41 will be closed between Rabans Lane and the Paradise Orchard junction, a local diversion will be in place during these overnight closures. It should also be noted that for safety reasons, both Jackson Road and Dickens Way will remain closed until the new traffic signals are fully operational. The reason for both Jackson Road and Dickens Way to remain closed is purely for safety reasons due to the change in configuration of the junction from a roundabout to a signal-controlled junction. During this time our workforce will be required to install new cabling and traffic signals. It is imperative that the safety of the workforce and both residents and travelling members of the Public remain paramount during these works. As such the existing diversion routes for both Jackson Road and Dickens Way will remain in place until Tuesday 30th August 2022.
