Car caught fire on the M40

During the early morning of Thursday 12th November 2015 a car caught fire on the Southbound carriageway of the M40 between Junction 4 (Handy Cross) and Junction 3 (Loudwater).

Firefighters were called at 7.23am. One fire appliance with crew attended from High Wycombe fire station.

A hose reel, two sets of breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera were used during the operation to extinguish the fire.
