Fire broke out in stairwell of Dovecot Multi-Storey car park, Dovecot Road, High Wycombe

Firefighters were called to the Dovecot Multi-Storey car park in Dovecot Road, High Wycombe at 4.47am on Sunday 26th October 2014 after fire broke out in a ground-floor stairwell.

Three fire appliances with crews attended the incident, two came from High Wycombe fire station and one attended from Beaconsfield fire station.

One hose reel, two sets of breathing apparatus, a Positive Pressure Ventilation fan and a thermal imaging camera were used during the operation to extinguish the fire.

The car park, operated by Euro Car Parks, is open 24-hours and has 800 parking spaces making it the second largest car park in High Wycombe town centre.
