Flooding continues to affect the Wycombe District
The aftermath of the recent rain still continues to affect the Wycombe District.
Higginson Park in Marlow is still closed. Bucks Fire and Rescue have a decontamination unit and mobile communications center in Marlow.
Since last Friday, 7th February 2014, over 7,000 sandbags have been distributed to affected areas by local councils. Today sandbags were delivered to the following pre-arranged collection points :
- Abbotsbrook, Bourne End – Lock Bridge Road
- Bourne End – Andrews Reach
- Marlow – Fieldhouse Lane
- Mill End – Skirmett Road
Gel sacks have been delivered to Marlow Town Council. Further sandbag deliverries are expected to take place tomorrow on a priority basis.

High Wycombe town centre, Marlow, Princes Risborough and Bourne End will see reduced street cleaning as the cleaning crews have been diverted to fill and deliver sandbags.
