High Wycombe man sentenced for making false statements and dangerous driving

A 22-year-old man from Cumbrian Way, High Wycombe has been sentenced at Oxford Crown Court to a total of 25 months’ imprisonment in relation to a speeding ticket scam in High Wycombe.

The man pleaded guilty and was charged with four counts of Making False Statements (Perjury Act) and Dangerous Driving after being detected speeding on seven occasions by police safety cameras in the High Wycombe area.

He was sentenced on Thursday 13th February 2014 to five months custody for each offence to run concurrently, a total of 25 months and was disqualified from driving for 12 months having to take an extended test to obtain a driving licence again.
