Loudwater crash – Driver hospitalised

A 24 year-old man was hospitalised today, Thursday 1st May 2014, following a head on collision in Knaves Beech Way, Loudwater.

The incident happened around 11.10am when a gold coloured BMW was travelling in the direct of Flackwell Heath to the A40/M40 (Junction 3) roundabout close to the Tesco store at Loudwater collided head on with a Honda Civic travelling in the opposite direction. The BMW was seen to overtake several vehicles prior to the accident.

The driver of the BMW got out of the vehicle and fled the scene on foot while a 24 year-old man driving the Honda Civic was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital, where he remains, with a number of injuries to his hand, arms and leg.
