Marylebone station has re-opened following the fire in a signal cable which disrupted services for the past two days.
At 6.00am this morning, Tuesday 17th June 2014, Chiltern Railways posted the following message on their website :
‘Marylebone station is now open. This is following the cable fire on Sunday morning which affected signalling and meant that we could not run trains in and out of Marylebone station. Network Rail engineers have been working around the clock so that we can operate services in and out of the station.
We are now running a normal service however, there may be some minor delays and last minute cancellations as trains will be out of place. Some trains may also be formed of fewer carriages.‘
