School block evacuated after boiler started smoking
Firefighters were called to Wycombe Abbey School, Marlow Hill, High Wycombe early on the morning of Tuesday 17th June 2014 following reports of smoke coming from a boiler.
Three fire appliances were despatched from High Wycombe fire station at 5.45am. Another attended from Beaconsfield fire station.
The boiler was isolated and a thermal imaging camera used during the operation.
The school block was evacuated safely before the fire fighters arrived.
