Featuring sing-a-long hits of the 1980’s ‘Walking On Sunshine’ is a feel good film musical telling the story of Taylor (Hannah Arterton) who travels to Italy to attend her sister Maddie’s (Annabel Scholey) wedding.

Things start to get complicated when Doug (Greg Wist), Maddie’s ex, turns up to woo her back. Things get even more complicated when it turns out the man Maddie is to marry, Raf (Giulio Berruti), was actually in a relationship with Taylor during her visit to the same town three years earlier.

The film features the acting début of X-Factor winner Leona Lewis.

Songs included in the film musical include ‘Holiday’, ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’, ‘Wake Me Up Before You Go Go’, ‘Don’t You Want Me Baby’, ‘Faith’, ‘Take Me To The Clouds Above’, ‘White Wedding’, ‘Walking on Sunshine’ and ‘If I Could Turn Back Time’.

This film is 97 minutes of very enjoyable, foot tapping sing-out-loud songs with something for everyone. I certainly left the cinema feeling uplifted by the feel good factor provided by some of the best hits of the 80’s. The easy to follow story line linking the songs makes this film one that can be watched over and over again.
