Fatal accident on M40 – Two dead, six injured

The westbound carriageway of the M40 was closed between Junctions 2 (Beaconsfield) and Junction 3 (High Wycombe) was closed on the morning of Friday 18th July 2014 following a collision in which two people died.

Police were called to the two-vehicle collision at 5.10am. Two people were declared dead and a further six people were taken to hospital to be treated for their injuries.

Two crews from Beaconsfield fire station were among the emergency services at the scene.
