Wycombe Man sentenced for burglary and theft of motor vehicle

A 37 year old man from Lynchfield Road, High Wycombe has been sentenced to two and a half years’ imprisonment for burglary and theft offences.

The man was sentenced on Monday 21st July 2014 at Aylesbury Crown Court after being convicted of a dwelling burglary, theft of a motor vehicle and a shoplifting offence.

On Thursday 24th April 2014 the offender burgled a house in Tilling Crescent, High Wycombe. He entered through the back door and searching the house and took electrical items including car keys and a car. The vehicle was then found abandoned near the offence location.

On the same day he was caught taking bottles of wine from Tesco Express in Hatters Lane, later that day he was arrested and on Friday 25th July 2014 he was charged with the offences.
