Residents asked to remain vigilant after a series of burglaries in Wycombe

Thames Valley Police is reminding residents to remain vigilant after a series of burglaries in Wycombe over the last weekend.

Nine burglaries occurred between Friday 8th August 2014 and Sunday 10th August 2014 in :

  • Lynden Gardens, High Wycombe
  • Holmer Green Road, Hazlemere
  • Havenfield Road, High Wycombe
  • The Haystacks, High Wycombe
  • Penn Road, Hazlemere
  • Roundwood Road, High Wycombe
  • Peters Lane, Monks Risborough
  • Pheasant Drive, High Wycombe
  • New Road, Princes Risborough

DI Rob Hood, of Local CID at Wycombe police station said: ‘Overall, the amount of burglaries residents in the High Wycombe area experience is still very low. However, we did see a spike in these offences over the weekend, where cash and jewellery were targeted. I urge anyone that may have information about these offences, or has seen anything suspicious, to call the police, using the 101 number. Alternatively, please call crimestoppers, free and anonymously on 0800 555111.’

Thames Valley Police are asking for anyone with information that could help their enquiries to contact Wycombe Local CID via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
