Cooker caught fire – Ayrshire Close, Aylesbury

Firefighters from Aylesbury fire station were called to Ayrshire Close, Aylesbury on the afternoon of Thursday 28th August 2014 to attend to a cooker fire.

Two fire appliances with crews were despatched to the incidnet at 3.37pm.

During the operation to extinguish the fire two sets of breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, a Positive Pressure Ventilation fan and a thermal imaging camera were used.

While at the scene the firefighters also carried out a home fire risk check.
