Car caught fire on the M40 between M25 interchange and Beaconsfield – Gerrards Cross firefighters attended

A car caught fire on the Northbound carriageway of the M40 between Junction 1a (M25 interchange) and Junction 2 (Beaconsfield) at 6.04pm on Saturday 13th September 2014.

One fire appliance with crew from Gerrards Cross fire station and one from Beaconsfield fire station attended.

The firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus and one hose reel during the operation to extinguish the fire.
