Witness appeal following fight in Queens Road, High Wycombe

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a fight that reportedly occurred in Queens Road, High Wycombe between 4.30pm and 5.30pm on Wednesday 3rd September 2014.

It was reported that two men were in a fight using a piece of rock and a broken glass bottle on Queens Road. The men were then seen to run along London Road.

Police were called and one man was treated at High Wycombe General hospital for a deep cut to his hand.

Two men aged 29 and 33 have been arrested on suspicion of affray in connection with this incident and both have been bailed to appear at High Wycombe Police station. The 29 year old man from Luton has been bailed to 25th September 2014 and the 33 year old man, who is of no fixed abode, has been bailed to appear on 30th September 2014.

Officers are still investigating the exact circumstances surrounding this incident and are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the assault. Thames Valley Police are appealing for anyone with information or were at the scene at the time then please contact PC Ryan Webb via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
