Chiltern Railways to run trains into London on Boxing Day 2014

| September 24, 2014

For the second year running Chiltern Railways will be running trains to London on Boxing Day 2014.

This will allow passengers to plan a day out in the capital or along our route up to Bicester. Traditionally train companies are closed on Boxing Day and therefore we anticipate the service will be popular with people who would otherwise have been unable to travel.

Trains will run from 08.15am to 20.15pm with the first train northbound from London to Bicester North at 08.15am and the last to Princes Risborough at 20.15pm.  Southbound the first train will run from High Wycombe to London at 08.56am and the last will run from Bicester North to Marylebone at 20.26am.

The trains will call at Bicester North, Haddenham and Thame Parkway, Princes Risborough, High Wycombe, Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross, Wembley Stadium and London

On the day car park charges will be waived and with our stations easily accessible by car customers will find it easy to plan a day out at the sales, football or to take in the sights of London.

The timetable can be found on the Chiltern Railway website at : http://www.chilternrailways.co.uk/tickets-and-times/changes
