Gerrards Cross firefighters called to lorry fire on M25 – False alarm

On Monday 29th September 2014 at 7.53pm firefighters from Gerrards Cross fire station were called to the anti-clockwise section of the M25 between Junction 16 (M40 interchange) and Junction 15 (M4 interchange) to attend to a reported lorry fire.

One fire appliance with crew attended the incident however the fire turned out to be just an overheated brake drum.

The incident was declared a good intent false alarm.
