Police appeal for information regarding assault in Aylesbury
A 20 year old man was the victim of a suspected assault in Aylesbury on the evening of Friday 26th September 2014.
The victim left St Mary the Virgin Church at about 10.30pm and arrived home at approximately 12.30am on Saturday 27th September 2014.
At some point during his journey home the victm sustained a fractured jaw.
The victim cannot remember how he sustained the injury, but police believe he may have been assaulted.
The victim is currently being treated at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, for his injury.
Thames Valley Police are appealing for information regarding the suspected assault.
Investigating officer, Det Con Shay Harper of Force CID said: ‘If anyone has any information about the incident I would urge them to contact police immediately via 101. I am particularly interested to speak to people who think they may have witnessed the victim walking near the churchyard. Please come forward and call the police.‘
