On Wednesday 8th October 2014, from 6.00pm to 8.30pm, Amersham & Wycombe College will be holding an Open Evening at their Amersham campus located at Stanley Hill, Amersham, Buckinghamshire, HP7 9HN.
The new academic year has seen bumper enrolments on virtually all their courses. This term has seen new courses at Amersham in Carpentry and Science, while Health and Social Care provision has also expanded with a new Level 3 course running at the campus.
Open evening visitors will be able to explore all of these courses and many more, specifically in Creative Industries and Business and IT, during the evening with one-to-one advice from tutors, the opportunity to see College facilities and to meet our students.
The College runs a range of BTECs which are equivalent to A Levels and recognised by Universities should a student desire to follow a higher education path. The College also offers its own range of higher education courses (including HNCs, HNDs and Foundation Degrees) which cost significantly less than University fees. In Media and e-Media in particular, College facilities outshine most Universities, with a dedicated motion capture suite and green screen rooms.
On Tuesday 14th October 2014 an Open Evening will take place at the High Wycombe Campus. This will focus on Construction, Early Years, Health and Social Care, Sport, Public Services and Hair and Beauty courses. Staff will be on hand to provide guidance and visitors will be able to explore the recently redeveloped campus with its new classrooms and Construction Skills Centre.
