Man injured in crash between van and motorbike on M40

A man was injured in a crash involving a van and a motorbike on the M40 during the evening of Friday 3rd October 2014.

The incident occurred on the northbound carriageway between Junction 2 (Beaconsfield) and Junction 3 (Loudwater).

Firefighters were called at 6.23pm. One fire appliance with crew attended from Beaconsfield fire station as wells as one from Gerrards Cross fire station.

Before the firefighters arrived an injured man was released from the wreckage together with another uninjured man.

The firefighters assisted paramedics and made the scene safe before leaving.
