Two injured in accident on M40 between M25 interchange and Beaconsfield

A road traffic collision involving two cars occurred on the Northbound carriageway of the M40 on the afternoon of Saturday 11th October 2014.

The accident occurred between Junction 1a (M25 interchange) and Junction 2 (Beaconsfield).

At 3.36pm one fire appliance with crew was despatched from Gerrards Cross fire station and one from Hillingdon fire station.

A man and a woman were injured in the crash however they were freed from the wreckage of the vehicles before the firefighters arrived.

The firefighters made the scene safe.
