Woman, 20, assaulted in Eden Bus Station, High Wycombe

Between 5.00am and 7.00am on Thursday 9th October 2014 a man approached a number of different women aged in their late teens and early twenties in the Eden Bus Station, Eden Shopping Centre, High Wycombe.

The man attempted to engage them in conversation and followed some of them for a considerable distance.

A 20 year old woman was spoken to by a man who then grabbed her arm and followed into Eden Shopping Centre where she managed to get away. She was not injured during the incident.

The offender is described as white, 5ft 10in, in his early twenties, of medium build. He has strawberry blond hair, short facial hair and was wearing beige trousers and a grey and black horizontally striped jumper.

A 24 year old man has been arrested in connection with this incident and is currently in custody.

Investigating officer, PC Richard Lunn of High Wycombe police station, said: ‘I would like to speak to anyone who saw a man acting suspiciously in the Eden Shopping Centre or Eden Bus Station area at around the time of this incident, and anyone who was approached by him. I am also appealing for anyone who can help to identify this man, or has any information about what happened in the bus station, to contact me via the 101 number.
