Police refer response to incident in Valley Road, Hughenden to IPCC
Thames Valley Police has referred its response to reports of a male walking in a road in Hughenden on Monday 27th October 2014 to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC).
The referral refers to the incident where a 19 year old pedestrian died after being in collision with a Vauxhall Mokka SUV in Valley Road, Hughenden. The accident occurred shortly before 6.40pm.
The pedestrian, a man from Reading, was taken to the Stoke Mandeville Hospital following the incident but later died from his injuries.
Thames Valley Police officers are keen to talk to anyone who witnesses the collision or saw the man walking along the road prior to this collision. Thames Valley Police are asking for anyone with information that may help with their inquiries to contact the Thames Valley Police non emergency number 101, quoting URN 1229 of 27/10.
