Firefighters tackle FOUR suspected incidents of arson in 2.5 hours
During the early hours of Thursday 11th December 2014 firefighters were called to four separate incidents of arson in the Western part of High Wycombe.
At 4.23am a fire involving eight cars occurred on the Abercromby Industrial Estate, Abercromby Avenue, High Wycombe. One fire appliance with crew attended High Wycombe together with one from Marlow fire station. Firefighters at the scene used two hose reels and a toolkit. The suspected cause of the fire was arson.
At 5.30am a van was on fire at the junction of Abercromby Avenue and Fryers Lane, High Wycombe. One fire appliance with crew attended from Marlow fire station One hose reel was used during the operation to extinguish the fire. The suspected cause of the fire was arson.
At 6.11am firefighters were called to Booker Lane, High Wycombe following reports of a car on fire. One fire appliance with crew attended from High Wycombe fire station. A single hose reel was used by firefighters at the scene. The suspected cause of the fire was arson.
At 6.52am two cars caught fire in Juniper Driver, High Wycombe. High Wycombe fire station despatched one fire appliance with crew to the incident. The firefighters at the scene used one hose reel and small gear during the operation to extinguish the fire.
