Police launch operation after burglaries in Gerrards Cross and Stoke Poges
Thames Valley Police will conduct a burglary operation in Buckinghamshire on Friday 12th December 2014.
The operation, named Operation Gaddley, will run between 12.00pm and 8.00pm and aims to get residents to report suspicious behaviour in Gerrards Cross and Stoke Poges.
It follows a series of burglaries that have taken place in recent weeks in both areas on Friday afternoons.
Residents are being asked to report any suspicious incidents or people they see – no matter how trivial the resident thinks it may be.
They are also asked, if it is safe to do so, to photograph or record on video any suspicious vehicles seen in the area.
Police officers will be conducting automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) operations and will be highly visible in your neighbourhood.
To report any suspicious activity, contact Sergeant Drew Armstrong from Gerrards Cross Neighbourhood Team, via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101 quoting URN 665 09/12/14.
If you don’t want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
