Car caught fire on the M40

Firefighters were called to a car fire on the Southbound carriageway of the M40 between Junction 5 (Stokenchurch) and Junction 4 (Handy Cross) at 1.54pm on Monday 22nd December 2014.

Two fire appliances with crews attended the scene from High Wycombe fire station.

A dry powder extinguisher was used by firefighters during the operation to extinguish the fire.
