Man, 37, arrested on suspicion of fraud following incident in Hazlemere

A 37 year old man from the Holmer Green area has been arrested by Thames Valley Police on suspicion of Fraud by False representation.

The arrest came after the man attended an address on Thursday 18th December 2014 in Hazlemere demanding money for works allegedly done.

The man has been bailed until the New Year whilst police conduct further enquiries into the offence.

Police are asking for residents to remain vigilant for this type of offence and call police on 999 if they have any concerns about suspicious people. This is particularly relevant as this offence mirrors a similar spate of offences from earlier in the year whereby two people were convicted.
