A residence in Castle Place, Castle Street, High Wycombe was burgled sometime between 9.00am and 7.30pm on Friday 9th January 2015.
The property burgled is located in Castle Place, the short pedestrian alleyway joining Priory Road and Castle Street. The offender forced entry to the front wooden door in full view of anyone walking past.
It is believed the offender may have been disturbed while inside the house and left with the front door wide open behind them.
Investigating officer, Det Con Alex Kratky said: ‘We would like to appeal to anyone who was in the area and who may have seen anyone suspicious or witnesses anything unusual or out of the ordinary.
I would also like to take this opportunity to remind residents to keep doors double locked, to use timer lights if their home is unoccupied between hours of darkness and to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.‘
