Safe containing cash stolen during burglary in High Wycombe
A small safe containing cash was stolen during a burglary in Wellesbourne Road, High Wycombe on Sunday 4th January 2015.
The burglary occurred sometime between 5.00pm and 5.30pm. Entry was gained to the property on the first floor by climbing up exterior scaffolding onto a balcony and breaking through the glass of French windows.
A 29 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft and bailed until Tuesday 3rd February 2015.
Investigating officer, PC Paul Reading said: ‘We would like to speak to a man, believed to be white and in his fifties, who may have spoken to the offender thinking him to be the occupant of the burgled property who had lost his keys. If you are this person, please contact police on 101 as you may have important information that can assist the investigation.‘
