Facebook page calls for improvements to Bassetsbury Lane and Chestnut Avenue junction
A Facebook page has been created calling for improvements to the junction at Bassetsbury Lane and Chestnut Avenue in High Wycombe.
The junction has seen numerous road traffic accidents including a fatality when on Wednesday 10th September 2014 an 18 year old died after his motorbike was in collision with a car at the junction.
Statistics show that between Thursday 1st October 2009 and Tuesday 30th September 2014 on Bassetsbury Lane and Chestnut Avenue there have been one fatal and three reported slight injury collisions. All of these incidents occurred at the junction of Bassetsbury Lane and Chestnut Avenue.
A petition will be presented to the Council asking for the junction to be improved. The petition will run until May 2015 and will be presented to Wycombe LCP and Buckinghamshire County Council.
