Pedestrian airlifted to the John Radcliffe Hospital following collision with car in Aylesbury

At 1.40pm on Wednesday 14th January 2015 a road traffic collision in Bicester Road, Aylesbury near the roundabout junction with Gatehouse Road.

A 56 year old man from Aylesbury was crossing Bicester Road at a pedestrian crossing when he collided with a silver Peugeot 106.

The man suffered serious leg injuries, which are not thought to be life threatening and was airlifted to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

The driver of the car, who is helping police with enquiries, did not suffer any injuries.

Thames Valley Police are appealing for anyone with information about this incident that could help with their enquiries should contact investigating officer PC Steve Leathersich, of Milton Keynes roads policing, via the 24-hour enquiry line 101.
