Bury 1-1 Wycombe Wanderers

Wycombe were lucky to come away with a draw following their trip to Gigg Lane on Saturday 17th January 2015.

In appalling weather conditions Danny Mayor put the Shakers ahead in the thirty second minute, Wycombe fought back but became frustrated as shots were blocked or missed the goal.

It wasn’t until the sixty eight minute that Fred Onyedinma make the breakthrough for Wycombe to bring the scores level.

Despite their best efforts the Blues came away with a draw which still leaves them at the top of League Two on fifty one points, one point ahead of the second placed team.

The play may have been scrappy with neither side getting into their stride but the possession stats show what Wycombe has 49% to Bury’s 51%.

The Chairboys manages ten shots at goal (six on target) to Bury’s six (one on target).

The attendance at Gigg Lane was 2,932.
