Car caught fire on M40 between Junction 1a (M25 interchange) and Junction 1 (Denham)

On the morning of Wednesday 28th January 2015 a car caught fire on the hard shoulder of Southbound carriageway of the M40 between Junction 1a (M25 interchange) and Junction 1 (Denham).

At 10.44am one fire appliance with crew was despatched to the incident from Gerrards Cross fire station as well as one from Beaconsfield fire station.

One hose reel was used during the operation to extinguish the fire.
