Cyclist from West Wycombe injured in collision on the A40 at White Hill
At 8.10am on the morning of Monday 26th January 2015 a collision occurred between a silver Hyundai car and a pedal cyclist on the A40 at White Hill, between Holtspur and High Wycombe.
In the collision the cyclist, a 55 year old man from West Wycombe, sustained serious head, leg and back injuries. He is being treated at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. The driver of the car, a 62 year old man was not injured.
Investigating officer, PC John Belson from the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing, based at Amersham, said: ‘This was a serious collision involving a cyclist on his way to work. If you witnessed the incident then please contact police by calling the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.‘
