Wheelie bin was set alight and pushed against door of house in Aylesbury
At around 7.10pm on Wednesday 4th February 2015 a wheelie bin was set alight and pushed against a door of a house in Keats Close, Aylesbury.
A man and a woman inside the property were able to get out uninjured and removed the bin away from the property before emergency services attended.
Thames Valley Police are treating it as an incident of arson with intent to endanger life.
Investigating officer, Det Con Shay Harper, from Aylesbury Force CID, said: ‘I am appealing for witnesses following this incident of arson with intent to endanger life.
If you have any information about the incident or saw anyone acting suspiciously at the time in the area please speak to police.
The consequences could have been tragic if the occupants inside the house had not noticed the bin on fire outside.‘
