Communities unite to provide food for homeless

The Mosque in Jubilee Road
On the evening on Wednesday 11th February 2015 volunteers from the Jubilee Road Mosque in High Wycombe helped to provide some fantastic food for the thirteen guests of Wycombe Winter Night Shelter.
Some of the volunteers from the Mosque regularly help out at the night shelter which happens each Wednesday in the hall of the Oakridge Road Baptist Church, next door to the Mosque.

The association between the Mosque and the night shelter began some time ago when the Imam of the Mosque learned what was happening in the hall of the Baptist Church next door.
The collaboration between the volunteers from the Mosque and the night shelter on the Church hall shows what can be achieved when the community unites to provide a united stand against homelessness.
