Road surfacing works planned from 13th to 19th February 2015
During the past week Transport for Buckinghamshire (Tfb) crews attended to nearly 500 potholes and over 1600 drains have been cleared using gully emptying vehicles.
In addition to routine and reactive maintenance, TfB programmes continued including the LED street light replacement programme and road patching programme.
Since the LED street light replacement programme began 1639 traditional street light lanterns have been replaces with more modern, efficient LED lamps. The replacement programme is now 63% complete and on track to complete by March 2015.
The TfB road patching programme has now visited 74 sites, which accounts for 56% of the total project. TfB are on track to complete to schedule, in March 2015.
TfB are currently meeting with Buckinghamshire County Councillors to see which roads they would like included in our larger scale treatment programme, starting in the Spring. A full list is being put together and will be available soon.
