Man sustained head injuries after being hit with hammer following altercation in Naphill

At approximately 3.45pm on Wednesday 18th February 2015 police were called by Ambulance staff to a report that a man had been hit with a hammer following an altercation in Main Road, Naphill.

The male victim sustained head injuries and was treated at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

It is believed the injuries were the result of an earlier altercation involving up to five people, two of whom have been described as white, male and around 20 years old.

Thames Valley Police officers would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident or who may have seen a VW Golf or a black Mini with a white roof travelling at speed nearby. Anyone with information that could help the police should call the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
