Man, 37, arrested following robbery at Holtspur Service Station, A40, Beaconsfield

A 37 year old man from Slough has been arrested in connection with a robbery at the Holtspur Service Station, A40, Beaconsfield which occurred during the early hours of Tuesday 3rd March 2015.

The man was arrested on the night of Tuesday 3rd March 2015 on suspicion of robbery. He was later released on conditional bail pending further inquires until Friday 17th April 2015.

Thames Valley Police is continuing to appeal for witnesses following the robbery which happened at Holtspur Service Station, A40, Beaconsfield, just before 3.30am on Tuesday 3rd March 2015.

During the robbery two men entered the service station and threatened members of staff with a hammer.

The pair then went onto steal a quantity of cash and cigarettes before making their escape in a white van, which was later found burnt out at Holtspur cemetery.

No-one was injured during the robbery.

Thames Valley Police are appealing for anyone with information about the robbery to contact Det Sgt Tracey Benham via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
