Woman, 41, from Beaconsfield charged after nearly £70,000 was stolen from elderly woman

A 41 year old woman from Fernhurst Close, Beaconsfield was charged on Monday 9th March 2015 with one charge of theft and five charges of fraud by abuse of position in Buckinghamshire.

The charges relate to incidents that allegedly took place between December 2013 and September 2014 when a 91 year old bed-ridden vulnerable woman from Beaconsfield had £51,000 fraudulently taken from her bank account via online transactions.

During the same period cash withdrawals and card transactions worth £19,000 were also taken from the same woman’s account.

The woman was bailed to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 9th April 2015.
