2 years and 6 months in prison for man who robbed Coral bookmakers in Princes Risborough

A 23 year old man has been sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in prison for a robbery that took place at the Coral bookmakers in Princes Risborough on Monday 9th February 2015.

On Monday 23rd March 2015 the man, of no fixed abode, was sentenced for robbery, possession of a bladed article and possession of a class B drug (cannabis) at Aylesbury Crown Court after an earlier guilty plea.

The man entered the Coral bookmakers with a knife and demanded money, stealing a large quantity of cash. He was later also found in possession of a small quantity of cannabis.

Det Con Suzie Price, investigating officer said: ‘This was a callous robbery and I am glad that justice has now been done.

Our investigation, charge and [the man’s] subsequent conviction should be a reminder to any offenders that Thames Valley Police will always do everything possible to bring perpetrators to justice.
