Burton Albion 1-0 Wycombe Wanderers
Wycombe Wanders will want to forget Easter 2015. On Good Friday they lost to Oxford United and on Bank Holiday Monday, despite playing well, they lost again to Burton Albion.
In the fifty fifth minute Adam McGurk scored the only goal of an entertaining game with a shot the curled around the Wycombe keeper Matt Ingram.
Wycombe remain in third position in League Two with seventy four points from forty one games. Their nearest rivals, Bury, lost at home to Morecambe meaning there is still a four point gap between Wycombe and fourth placed Bury.
Wycombe only had 44% ball possession compared to Burton’s 56% however Wycombe managed seventeen shots at goal (three on target) compared with Burton’s twelve shots at goal (two on target).
The attendance at the Pirelli Stadium was 4,284.
