Man, 24, assaulted close to Wycombe Rye Lido

A 24 year old man was walking through The Rye, High Wycombe at about 9.00pm on Thursday 9th April 2015, as he approached the entrance of Wycombe Rye Lido he was hit on the head from behind.

The victim fell to the floor where he was punched and kicked sustaining sustained bruising and swelling to his face, ribs and knees. The victim has since been discharged from medical care.

Currently there is no description of the offender but at this stage of the police investigation the offender is believed to be a man.

Investigating officer, PC William Stockwell based at High Wycombe Police Station said: ‘I am appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to call 101.
