Shed fire spreads to two houses in Terriers, High Wycombe

A fire spread from two sheds to two adjacent houses at junction of Kingshill Road and Green Road, Terriers, High Wycombe at around 11.00pm on Wednesday 15th April 2015.

The properties receives between 10% and 15% fire damage and 60% cent smoke damage.

Firefighters were called at 11.03pm. Two fire appliances with crews were despatched to the incident from High Wycombe fire station as well as one from Beaconsfield fire station. An officer and the British Red Cross Fire and Emergency Support Service vehicle based at Marlow Fire Station also attended the scene.

One jet, two hose reels, four sets of breathing apparatus, a Positive Pressure Ventilation fan and an environmental pack were used by firefighters during the operation to extinguish the fire.

The firefighters also removed three gas cylinders to a safe place.

One crew of firefighters remained at the scene until 3.30am.
