Burglars flee empty handed following attempted burglary in High Wycombe

At around 9.40 pm on Thursday 16th April 2015 an attempted burglary took place at a house in Tower Street, High Wycombe.

Two men attempted to gain access to the property by kicking in the door however they were disturbed when the resident returned home.

As the offenders ran away, one of the men was seen to be carrying an object in his hand which may have been a weapon.

The offenders were not able to enter the property and no one was injured during the incident.

Thames Valley Police would like to speak to anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area at this time. Anyone with information that could help the police with their enquiries is asked to please contact the 24 hour Thames Valley Police enquiry Centre on 101.
