Caravan overturned on M40

At 2.42pm on Sunday 14th June 2015 firefighters were called to the Southbound carriageway of the M40 between junctions 6 (Lewknor) and 5 (Stokenchurch) after a caravan overturned while being towed by a car.

Two fire appliances with crews attended from High Wycombe fire station together with one from Thame fire station and an officer.

Before the firefighters arrived at the scene four people were released into the care of the ambulance service.

The firefighters made the scene safe before leaving.
