Man, 23, sustained serious facial injuries in Marlow GBH attack

At around 8.30pm on Saturday 13th June 2015 an argument took place between two groups in Court Garden House car park off Pound Lane, Marlow.

During the argument a 23 year old man, who was part of one of the groups, was punched causing him to fall to the ground. He sustained a broken jaw and injuries to his teeth which required hospital treatment. As of 4.10pm on Sunday 14th June 2015 he remained in a stable condition in hospital.

On Sunday 14th June 2015 a 23 year old man from High Wycombe was arrested in connection with the incident and is currently in police custody.

Investigating officer Det Con Rebekah Tyler, from High Wycombe Force CID, said: ‘I am appealing for witnesses to this incident in which a young man sustained serious facial injuries.

I believe the area would have been busy due to people attending the Marlow Town Regatta event nearby, so I would ask that anyone who saw what happened, calls the police as they may have information which can assist with our enquiries.

Thames Valley Police are appealing for anyone with any information about the incident which may assist the investigation to contact the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
